Pretty Petals

Since I’m in the right mind and mood to blog, might as well I posted something here before the feeling pass on to other things like blog hop or streaming bunch of series online. And God knows when I’ll get back to posting anything good in here. Not that this will be amazing but hey…. I’m here, alive and kicking and I’m sharing something. All is good.

I am currently on my replacement leaves after 10 days of working nonstop. Yup. I was working through the last weekend and I dont usually like to take the replacement leaves immediately. I like to keep it for longer holidays because I like my days to be well planned, but I’m too knackered. So here I am at home and contemplating if I should go to Mom’s for a free meal or not.

And before I decide on anything, I’m sharing this. These were done with watercolor pencils and I’ve posted it before. I’ve finally scanned these and made a few enhancement digitally to brighten up the colors. So here are better, clearer pictures of my “Pretty Petals”. (Oh hey… something that’s finished. Good job, girl!) hehe Thanks.

Ok decided. I’m heading to Mom’s for the free lunch. I don’t know why I took too long to decide. It’s like the easiest decision y estoy siendo estúpido. Tsk tsk.

Bye, love.

Paper 53

Have you heard about Paper53 app from the apple appstore?

I’ve heard about it long before, but since my 1st gen of iPad cannot support the latest version of the said application, I never really had the chance to fully utilized it. And finally when the husband decided that he wanted an iPad mini for his birthday (from yours truly) and downloaded the app into it,  I’ve been hooked to it ever since. I even managed to persuade the dear darling into buying a stylus just because I wanted it for this app.

Here is  what I have achieved with it.

I have a few instagram videos of me using the app but I could not figure out how to embed the videos on to this post and (in away) kinda lazy too. So here is the link —- *click*

Happiness is just a one app purchased away (or in this case, a set of brushes/pen and a gradient tool which cost me 9USD) hehehehe

Going digital

Current  project that I am working on involves heavy digitization of images, vector graphics and the repeat of my previous and the only themed series of artworks that I ever produced so far.

Reason being, it’s the only thing that I can work on during my free time and stolen seconds while at the office. Wont it be awkward if I started taking out my brushes and watercolor palette and started painting while at work? (OK, sometimes I doodle – Oh hey! that was how I started anyway, doodling at work and lunch time on recycled papers) It’ll rises questions from the management of how I am not doing what I’m hired to do (which I did! Seriously) and believe me when I say that there are CCTVs everywhere in the office.

As time is my biggest factor that contributes to my limitations of exploring art further (which I mentioned on my previous post), I find that this is the only time I can work on my personal projects ( and it will be an awfully slow process). It is because when I’m at home, I usually focus on the commission artworks.

Yes, I am that determined.

Here you go. Another series of lips will be making its way around here and I am just getting started.
